Virginia @ 6:07 am:
Even tho Einstein lost some cache with me for being a lousy husband, his brillance is indisputable. He was recently inducted into the NJ Hall of Fame along with other NJ greats–Harriet Tubman, Yogi Berra, Thomas Edison, Clara Barton, Frank Sinatra, Meryl Streep, Bruce Springsteen and other luminaries. When it comes to not thinking of the future as pertains to environmental issues, I agree and disagree with AE. As I describe in a recent post on my blog www.vaboomer.com, our environmental crisis is here in part because we have not considered the future, but he is completely right in that the future we never considered is right here now.

Virginia - I agree on all counts! Einstein was a bit of a cad. And certainly it is a lack of foresight and consideration of future consequences that has led to our environmental situation.
Thanks for the great comment.
